Back to school - ALREADY!?!?!

Tuesday, August 30th - the kids in my town are going back to school. Yup. Already.

My niece & nephew are not happy & cant say as I blame them. Going back to school before the holiday should be outlawed. Its really kind of a waste.. they have Friday & Monday off anyway. It could be because of the snow days they had last year - but still... this is just well wrong!

So Karla & Anthony - enjoy your first day back to school.

Michael left for college a few weeks ago. Hope he is adjusting well. Will have to call & check up on him since its his first year. Lori recommended a book that I picked up for him. Hope he's finding something useful in there - and not just the info on the fake id! hahaa

Krystina goes to college 9/8 & lucky her & her family are off to California tomorrow. What a bad auntie I am - totally forgot to call them! Its 10:30 & maybe Krystina is up - but everyone else was probably sound asleep by 8.

The rest of the kids - forget when they go back, but it must be next week.

Now the rest of us will have to deal with the back to school traffic every morning. I swear it quadruples this time of year. Dont know how it will affect me with a different route to work now. Good luck in your back to school traffic!

Lori - good luck going back to school yourself you darn good teacher you! As my niece says she's going to college to become a kickass teacher.... all I could do was think of you! You kick ass this year girl!
