Did you watch it???

American Idol was a blast to watch last night. I get bored with it when all the great singers are jamming away to become the "Next American Idol" , but how I loooove to watch the auditions!

Jeff watched it with me, "ya gotta watch" I said... it was hysterical. Although we dont know what Paula & Randy were thinking when they told the very bouncy, excited, no talented man at the end that he was GOING TO HOLLYWOOD. They must have been a tad bit sleepy & not in their right minds.

These were the best 2hrs I've had watching something. In a way, you do feel bad for those who think they can sing, whether it be their toned deaf ears & they cant tell their bad, or their family who encourages them to make fools of themselves, there is some sympathy there.

But seriously folks, this is the 5th season of the show..... and no one has caught on to what they should avoid when going to these auditions? Lets just say if the person in the silly outfit, who couldnt sing & had a bad ass attitude didnt make it in the last 4 seasons...what makes you think you can do it? Take some notes kids for the next time on what to avoid! Although then I guess we wouldnt have anything to laugh at, now would we?

Simon can be awful. He made a rude comment about needing a bigger stage this season after this overweight woman was on. She was beautiful & what a voice! Who cares what her weight is for crying out!?? Wish I could remember if he made those comments when Rueben auditioned. And he doesnt have to be so rude to anyone... like the 16yr old girl - he hated her dress & everything & the poor girl walked away in tears. There's no need to be that cruel. But guess thats what makes Simon, Simon.

Tune in next week for some more outrages loonies, hopefully mixed in with some talented people....

It's on tonight too but I think only for an hour! I may not watch it because I have my paper still to do.
