Welcome to the Jungle...
Yesterday a co worker moved all her plants into my office to give them a temporary home. They are suppose to be getting another file cabinet today, so she moved them to keep them away from harm. Keep your fingers crossed that they get it pretty soon, seeing how its 1:20 & there hasnt been any signs of it yet.
She asked if she could put her plants on the top of our file cabinets... Sure thing, no problem.. Well by the time I came back to the office.. I was quite the grump. I have a bookcase next to my desk with a flower made of material & then there's a pile of expense reports to be filed. She pushes my little flower aside (you know how I hate my stuff to be moved) she puts this plant thats sitting in a pot, on top of a dirty plate filled with brown muddy uckie water. I picked it up & was like Oh I dont think so!!! Good thing she wasnt in here cuz I made quite a stinker about it. Manasi helped me dump the muddy water into the trash bucket & put the plant on top of the file cabinet - where it should have gone in the first place.
She also put a few plants on the window sill next to me here & a big tree. Manasi moved the big tree away from my desk & put it towards the center of the room. How was I suppose to sit surround by so much greenery?? So not only did I get a little angry over the dirty plant on the bookcase & the moved flower, anxiety took over. I havent anxiety like that in a long time.. but it was just too much green & I started to feel extremely claustrophobic. Manasi & Franca ran downstairs & got me a piece of chocolate cake to help soothe the nerves (Manasi had 1/2) it was soooo very yummy. That was so nice of them to do that for me. It certaintly did the trick : )
Im lucky to work with people who can be caring and considerate. And also those who dont mind joking around with you & giving you a laugh no matter how crazy busy they are :)
It kind of comepensates for those that may not realize they're being a little inconsiderate.
Oh lookie there.... the guys have come up to make over their office! Wooo hooo! Lets hope nothing goes wrong so these plants can go home asap!

It's one thing to ask for a favor, but it's another thing to take total advantage of that favor! You were nice enough to lend your space for a while but she took over control..shame on her! I hope by days end they were gone!
I hate it when someone else's "stuff" wonders into my area or space. Maybe this is why I'm doomed to remain single for the rest of my life. I can't share!
:-)
