A loss for words

There is too much sadness going on, cards are being mailed to say thinking of you, people at work are saying how a loved one is dying ... on & on.

I feel terrible because finding any words to say are so hard to find.

Today I mailed out 2 cards: 1 for Jeff's grandfather who is not doing too well. Not sure how much time this poor man has left.. I didnt write anything in the card except our names. The 2nd was to my uncle who just got diagnosed with a brain tumor & was told he only had 4 - 6 months left to live. If he did not have this tumor, he would probably live to be a 100. Again.. his card also went out with just our names written in it.

Erin's sister in law has cancer and they just discovered it in her brain. Shes not doing too well either. The guy at work, his dad is 101 and not doing very well. They thought he was going to pass last week, but by the sounds of things he's a fighter. What do you say ?? All I can think of to say is "So very sorry to hear that" I feel stupid that nothing else comes to mind!

Olivia's care pages... sometimes when encouraging comments are needed.. the mind is blank on what to say.

These are all people you care about, why is there a loss of words? You want to let them know you are there for them, you are thinking of them, your heart is with them & you worry about how they will be - so again, why such a loss for words?

Its really a terrible feeling not knowing what to say when you want to console someone, to let them know you care about them & whats going on in their lives.

Words are hard to come by sometimes. All you can do is be there for one another. I had the hardest time writing cards out when Denise passed away, because I didn't know what to say. Afterall she was my friend too.

I'm so sorry about Jeff's grandfather and your uncle and of course Erin's sister in law. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Life is so short! Kristen's cousin was just in a car accident and the wake is tomorrow night. 37 years old!
