Monday already...

Gee Monday sure came quick didnt it? Didnt do too much this weekend but had a pretty good one anyway. Sharon & the kids couldnt make it Friday, so they came by Saturday instead. Its always great to see Andrew & Krystina. Mum made a great meal & then some of us went off to the mall. We kept telling Karla & Krystina to pick out something for Christmas. Now that they are older, sometimes its hard to buy them something they'll like that I can afford. I hate not being able to buy them more though.

In the end they both wanted some Victoria Secret body glitter that has an attached brush. You click the top like you would a pen, and the glitter is on this nice big brush that you put on your body. Kinda cool. So they're getting that & the Napolean Dynamite pens I bought them about a month ago.

Whatever makes them happy right?

Sunday just did some cleaning & baked some cookies. Took a nap later in the afternoon. Oh yah, make some pork country style ribs. Marinated them for about 4hrs in the crock pot with honey barbecue sauce. Jeff loved them. I didnt care for them. I dont like the taste of meat that tastes like its been in a stew. Just remember my mum making stew & tasting the really soft meat...yuck!

So here it is Monday already. Nice short week. Unfortunately, I will be working on Friday. Kinda of sad because I havent worked the day after Thanksgiving for gee like 10 yrs or more now - but sometimes when you have a great job - you accept the slight downfalls you might have. So I can deal with it... its just a little depressing to think about ! : )
