Not better yet....
Ok its been a week. Still feeling sluggish & sick. Yesterday went to the doctors & he wasnt even going to give me an anti biotic for this cold. He told me that it probably just has to run its course..but between having this sinus problem & having another slight fever - I insisted that he give me something because its just been a very rough week. And since swallowing has been difficult, I asked for a liquid medicine. So he gave me a perscription and a voucher to get the med for free.
All excited to have something to take, since I was driving by CVS anyway, figured might as well get it filled now before going back to work. Well that was the downside to the rest of the day. It took them longer than they said to fill it..so Im checking my watch panicking that its getting very late.... so finally get it..rush back to work....and take the medicine. Its one little bottle - you drink the whole thing & its suppose to stay in your body for 3 days.
So all excited to have started the "healing process" I get back into working & looking forward to the Outback dinner we were going to get. Well wouldnt know about 20 min to a 1/2 later I start getting this sever pain in my stomach. So bad that I felt like I had to hunch over a little. Go online & check out the medicine I took... one of the not so serious side effects is stomach pain/cramps. Well they got so bad I couldnt stay in work & had to leave 45 minutes earlier than planned. There went the Outback dinner as well. We got take out from the 99s instead that I made Jeff go get. I started to feel a little better by the time he got home, but started to eat & got the pains again.
Thankfully today, the pain has gone, but still under the weather. Was suppose to go to my cousin's baby's 1st year birthday party - but just did not have the energy or strength to go.
Maybe tomorrow I feel brand new. There is so much laundry to do & for crying out loud - we havnt put the halloween stuff away since we've both been so sick. This isnt like me to have decorations this long past a holiday. How awful! Maybe after my nap......

Feel better Janet-poo! I know you've been struggling with this cold for a while -
I can't believe the Dr wouldn't give ya meds at first - ughy! You need to funtion for goodness sake!
Drink plenty of liquids and call me in AM. :-)
