i turned the radio on
and heard a song that made me wonder
just how love is suppose to be
and when you should surrender
the music called to me
begged for the words to be heard clearly
my eyes stung with tears
from the beauty of the words that i now hold dearly
it spoke of amazing things
i thought were only fairytales
it made promises & swore it was all true
that true love does exsist, and that it was with you
i swore i would reach out for your touch
and love you with all my heart - just so much
as my eyes filled with joy at the thought
the song slowly faded away into darkness,
leaving its imprint upon my heart
and heard a song that made me wonder
just how love is suppose to be
and when you should surrender
the music called to me
begged for the words to be heard clearly
my eyes stung with tears
from the beauty of the words that i now hold dearly
it spoke of amazing things
i thought were only fairytales
it made promises & swore it was all true
that true love does exsist, and that it was with you
i swore i would reach out for your touch
and love you with all my heart - just so much
as my eyes filled with joy at the thought
the song slowly faded away into darkness,
leaving its imprint upon my heart
