What the HECK!?!?!?
Ok... over the past 2 weeks I have had to throw out my favorite boots ever and have had to take 4 pairs of Levis to be stitched, patched & whatever else is needed.
The boots have been on their way for awhile now & I should have looked to replace them before the day came that they totally fell apart. I should have taken them to be fixed, but NOPE they got put in the trash instead. Oh I miss them! :(
Then one week, a belt loop on the jeans wripped right off as i pulling my pants up. Then I noticed there were small holes near the pockets... Then I took a pair out of the washing machine & noticed a huge whole near the pocket... then wearing a pair on Sunday, there were holes near the pockets & then finally, another pair is starting to have tiny holes near the pockets.
OK WTF? Levis have been made very cheap lately, yes.. but 4 pairs in the matter of 2 weeks???? Needless to say on Sunday after Jeff was home & I noticed the hole, I totally flipped out in tears. Blaming of course my big ass for making the jeans rip. Very depressing. Jeff did try to make me feel better... even offered to buy me some jeans since I wailed that I did not have the $ to buy them.
All 4 jeans are out being fixed & last night it was a trip to Kohls where 2 more pairs of jeans were found. The good thing is, I remembered about the $100 night on the town award from work - so bonus! I bought stuff, turned in my receipt & will get reimbursed the $100 shopping trip. Not to bad and of course that made me feel a wee bit better.

I hate it when that happens. I have a one pair of jeans that I adore too and they are starting to get holes in them too. Ughy!
They don't make things like they used to!
