Rain, rain go away.......
Saturday... rain rain & more rain. UGH! How much gloominess can we take!?!? At least we're not flooded out & we still have our houses.
Finally met with my counselor in the morning. She really is great. But she kind of got me thinking about a few things that I dont think I need to think about. She could be right - but I something tells me she may be off a little. She did make sense on some other issues and I think she is really going to help me out with somet stuff.
In the afternoon Sandy & I went on a 40 minute drive to Heidi's sisters house for Heidi's baby shower. We had a great time. It was great to see Heidi & her family & meet her niece & her 2 nephews. What cuties they are! Heidi got a lot of great clothes, diapers, laundry detergent & a few other things. Her boyfriends family had already thrown her a shower a few months back - not sure what she got from them.
On our way home we got lost. Missed a right turn somewhere. We were on Daniel Webster Highway - but I dont know how far it goes down & I think it breaks off somewhere so we had to turn around. It was so rainy & dark I couldnt find somewhere to turn around...the road was wide enough so I put my blinker on & start to slow down giving the person behind fair warning - they didnt really seem to notice that we were slowing down so I turned a little harshly to just get into the other lane & then they start beeping at me. Its like ok - Im not in your way & Im obvisiously lost - they must have been able to tell by the many times I put my blinker on to turn - but it was soo dark couldnt see the road. HELLOOOO!?!? But who cares if they got upset. We had to turn around before we ventured too far into unknown territory. So we found the road we were suppose to go down & we had to pay a toll. Of course we were talking & I felt frazzled - so i got into the express pass lane. Holding the 50cents & sitting there like OH SHIT - WHAT DO WE DO!?!? There was someone behind us (of course) so the only thing there was to do was to go thru without paying. Keeping my fingers crossed that if I get a fine - it wont be a big one!
That night my eyes were tired from straining to see - I didnt want to do anything but sleep. Jeff wanted me to stop somewhere for food - but it was like no way! I just want to get home & get out of this rain. So delivery it was ! : )
