What a weekend!

This weekend was the best weekend I've had in quite a long time. Friday had the day off & got a later start than planned, so didnt make any stores. But did visit the old job and had the chance to go out in the plant & see those guys. Only saw a couple of people though - talked so much to Betty & Mario that there wasnt enough time to make the full rounds. They are so fun to talk to & they were so excited to see me! That made me feel so good. They also told me about the plant Christmas party thats planned & really want me to go. I keep forgetting to ask Erin - maybe she'll want to go. Some of the people in the office go, and some people who were laid off first, are planning on going to. It should be a good time.

Anyway, after leaving there, went to Mum's house & saw the kids. They are so much fun to be around. Since Jeff was leaving for Maine to go to his friends house - they said they would spend the night on Saturday. Karla had to work so it was Ants & I for awhile. We got dinner from the 99s - which considering we got 3 meals - it wasnt that expensive. I would have paid the same amount going to a fast food joint probably. We almost ate there - but decided to call it in & bring it back home. Thank goodness we did! The lobby was packed with people waiting to sit. So we put Karla's in the fridge, sat near the couch & put our food on the coffee table (bad habit) plugged in the pumpkin in the window & watched a horror movie. Oh yah we also made some cookies in there somewhere. We got the giggles at one point & couldnt stop laughing. So around 10 - we picked up K.. she came back, ate, we all put our jammies on, played a game of Sorry, giggled some more, & then tried to watch the new Batman...K & me fell fast asleep so poor Ants was watching by himself. He hit me at one point to wake up..but I just looked at him & said going to bed... the spare beds ready when you're ready to go nighty night. Karla was asleep on the couch - had it all made up like a bed for her. She likes the couch so in the morning when she wakes up, she can watch movies & tv without being bothered. She loves the peace & quiet. : )

So in the am, I get up & K is already wide awake watching tv. She had a cookie & a roote bear...nice breakfast! She said she needed some caffine to keep awake....so she basically kicks me out of the living room with one line being: Are you staying here? You get up early all week for work, dont you want to sleep in? So I took the hint that she wanted to watch tv in quiet & we laughed about it, so back to bed I went to watch some tv movie & about 10:30 I told her - it was time for me to get up & start making breakfast - whether she was ready for me to come out or not! LOL Finally Ants woke up just in time to eat.

Anthony said he loves to spend the night because he knows I'll make a nice breakfast for them. He said my pancakes were THE BEST. How cute is that? Their mum came by to pick them up & Ants didnt want to go. K had to go because they had to get her something to wear for confirmation and Ants stayed with me. He helped me go food shopping and then we made lunch & watch Salem's Lot where we both ended up dozing off. We then watched Friday the 13th on AMC & his mom didnt come back for him until about 9:15pm or so.

The both of them are just so much fun to be around. I love spending time with them!

Jeff enjoyed his weekend somewhat - but he thought they wouldnt work that much, and have some fun time - but they pretty much worked all weekend, taking John's boat out of the water & fixing some stuff around his summer house. Plus now he thinks he's coming down with something. Probably being cold, wet & being outside might have worn down his resistance. Hopefully his sniffles will go away.
