BAH HUMBUG!!!!!!
Ok.. its taken me awhile to get in the cheery Christmas spirit..so why is it nothing is going right??? We never got our lights or our spiral tree outside before the blizzard the other day, so I doubt we'll get any of them out now.
Have been waiting for awhile to get the order in from Current. There's the Christmas tree I ordered for the work window& the Rudolph Christmas cards - the order finally came in today... however, the tree is a piece of crap & is definitly going back...as for the cards - they are perfect, but I should have ordered 2, because I've run out. Now I have to make a special trip out for cards - like its not getting too late as it is already! My goal was to get cards out the 1st week of December. So much for that.
Then as im trying to enjoy the Christmas tree & writing out the cards, I notice somehow part of the tree has blinked out. The top is not lit, the upper middle is, the lower middle isnt & the bottom is... WELL WHAT THE F HAPPENED TO THE TREE!!?!?!?? Like the house had no decorations already - now the tree isnt working right! So i unplugged the window candles, unplugged the tree, threw my arms up & said thats it!!! The tree is coming down & everything is getting put away!!!! #14 looks sooo beautiful with their lights & our house is one big dud. Now the tree is out. Last night I pulled the shades up more in the living room so you could see the tree from outside, had real candles lit in the window & thought maybe it would look at least OK for now... but now we have no tree... Oh im sorry, a 1/2 lit tree. Im very sad & aggravated and actually said out loud "Christmas sucks" "GASP" I never talk like that about Christmas!
This is the time of year for peace, love & warm fuzzy feelings inside your heart. Reflecting on the birth of Jesus... thinking of special people & sending cards to say hello, having fun buying gifts for those you love...and now I just feel like a big ass Scrooge.
Jeff said he'd check out the tree tomorrow.. and ya know what sad, i dont even care if it goes on again. Well, of course, yes I would love it to come back on - all the way on....but why is it one thing after another?
Today i was just a tried grump thru most of the day at work and the day just keeps getting worse. Sorry to sound so down & negative... its just last year everything looked so nice & this year everything is a flop! WAAAAH snif snif booo hoooo hoooo
btw - i dont know where the date/time stamp went on this blog...its all of a sudden disappeared.... ?????????????????

lori - pls dont use me as an example of being anti-christmas! most years everything has gone smoothly...this year everything is just out of whack!
