Few days before Christmas

Its been a little bit since there has been time to journal entry. I've actually missed it & dont really like for so many days to pass. Will try to make this a short entry, instead of a small novel! : )

Wed: Ants danced with his group at the opening of the Celtics game. From what I hear - he was awesome & they showed him up on the big screen. Wish I had been there. Instead of taking Thurs & Fri off, should have worked a 1/2 day on Thur in order to leave earlier on Wed to make the game. What was I thinking!?!?! Rumor has it though that sometime with in the next few months, there will be a video for purchase!

Thurs: First day off. Starting to not feel right... very tired & sluggish but have to get out & get some stuff done. Did a few things around the house, went food shopping, got some D.Donuts gift cards & then stopped in to see K & A to drop off their extra gifts. They loved them! Auntie Jan always does well : ) Still waiting for the Partylight order to come in..... At night we met up with Heidi to exhange gifts. She gave me 2 Boyds! One is Lauren & Jan holding a basket full of strawberries & one is a little bear dressed as an elf holding an ornament that says sugar & spice make Christmas nice. It was awesome! We had a great night, Sandy, Tammy, Heidi & me. We got some nachos too & made pigs of ourselves, but it was worth it! Heidi is looking awesome after having Thomas. You would never guess she just had a baby! Good for her!

Fri: Did a few things around the house...go for swallowing test. Good news is that mechanically, everything is working great. Everything went down fine, except when they had me swallow a tablet.. you could see on the xray screen the tablet go down - but it still felt as if it was in my throat stuck. So - really no explanation for that. The woman just said to keep track of it & keep letting my doctor know its a problem. The funny thing is, she didnt tell me to take my earrings off & I didnt think of it - so on the screen you see my bones & everything & there are my earrings - hanging there. It was kind of funny... Left there & to go get blood drawn to test my iron levels & the woman there couldnt do it (due to her hands & wrist being bandaged up due to an illness) and her partner was at lunch..."Are you in a hurry? Can you wait 20 minutes?" Ah no - I'll come back later! I was starving to death since it was after 2 & I hadnt had a bite to eat since 9am... off to DD for a bagel & then to Mum's house to see the kids once more. Thanking God that Ants slippers came in.. & then just headed home for a quiet night of wrapping gifts... that lasted up to about 12am & was NOT finished! btw - Partylight stuff DID come in ! About time! Lauren was very patient & did not need me to run out to meet her WHEW!
