It always happens in 3s...

We were saddened to hear that my boss at my old job lost her brother 12/17 from a heartattache. He was only 50 years old with 2 kids. Erin & I went to the wake last night. Everyone seemed pretty good - but our old boss said that it just seems unreal to them right now. Its too much for them Im sure, since they just buried their dad last year. But at least he was sick & they knew what was to happen.. you can tell someone you love them....sorry if you had been a jerk... say good bye. When its sudden like that - how do you deal with it? Her & her sister both talked to him earlier in the day too.

He sold Christmas trees every year & always made sure everyone in his family had a tree. For him to pass away a week before Christmas - kind of spooks me. It always spooks me like that - for example if someone passes on or near their birthday.

As for happening in 3s... first my boss Sue lost her Uncle...the following week we find out about my Aunt..and now this.

Our old boss was very surprised, but yet very happy to see us last night. We told her we found out from HR - the woman in HR is awesome. She is always keeping everyone on top of things even when you dont work there anymore. So its good to still be there for people... I told her even though we dont work there anymore, doesnt mean we stopped caring about everyone.

Just hope her & her family can get through such a difficult time. His kids look young too - too young to lose their dad. I feel so bad for them.
