Silly!
The other day I shared my story of the wrong shoes with Sandy & Sharon. Ok, I should just get over the fact that it happened & deal with it. Its just very hoffifying to realize you've left the house like that & cant remember how many times you must have done it! They are very similar shoes, so if you didnt look down, you wouldnt realize they werent the same. Here are some other stories.. mmmm does this run in the family??? :
Sharon - has the same style shoe in black & navy blue. She found herself in Stop'n Shop with one of each on her feet.
Debbie - has 2 pairs of boots that are similar styles, same kind of heels.. everything, except one boot has the stitch up the middle & the other doesnt. she found herself in a bathroom at a club realizing she had 2 different boots on.
Now the next one was a deliberate mix up but the story is funny: Its mix match day at school.. Ants has 2 different sneakers on. Sandy picks him up for a doctors appointment. On the way there she realizes oh shit Ants - I forgot about your sneakers! Too late to worry about, they just go on their way. After the appointment, she's getting ready to pay her co payment when the doctor tells the secretary... please dont charge her for this visit.
He must have thought she couldnt afford shoes for the kid! LOL . That was very nice of him though to do that for her.
So at least Im not alone... but now that I think back, think the new girl @ work might have noticed, cuz I remember one point her looking down & giving me a weird look as we were chatting one day. So God, how many people noticed??? The last place you want to look like an idiot is at work. What if you're up for a promotion some day & they go um noooo she cant even wear the same shoes! LOL But now its like mmm where else did i go?? Its just really embarrassing especially when you think you've worn them out more than once wrong ! Oh well. .the best & only thing you can do is laugh!

We've all done it - made fools of ourselves in some situation or another.
Think of it this way: As a high school teacher, I make an ass out out of myself each and everyday.
PS I did the shoe thing once a few years ago. My students decided to "discuss it" it during current events. :-)
