Vacation rundown
Its been a great week off! Well except today, really feeling exhausted from all the running around! Was suppose to be at Mum's house already, soaking up some sun.. but not only am I feeling exhausted, its chilly out! Dont let fall be coming in sooner than expected here!
Ok here is the weeks rundown:
Monday - we didnt really do much. there was threat of thunder showers so we didnt really want to venture out anywhere. i laid out by the pool for awhile, swam by myself with the noodle until finally sandy & the kids came by. that was pretty much our day.. it was good though.
Tuesday - off to Wrentham outlets with sandy & the kids. we were there ALL day. left so much later than intended, but the kids did get some clothes for school, which was good. i got a great deal on shoes at Bass. $69.99 shoes for $40. not too bad.. usually paying $30 for something at kohls, but these are so much nicer. now just have to get them conditioned & treated before wearing. we all agreed that the best part of the day was going to the chocolate shop & getting some candy. well they got candy, i got a caramel apple rolled in mini chocolate chips... this was DA BEST EVA. we all had some (since they were just so nice to cut it up) so looking forward to going again just for that treat :)
Wednesday - off to canobie lake with sharon, krystina & andrew, sandy, karla & ants, debbie, leeann, amanda & markie & then her husband came a little later in the day. another ALL day adventure! we got there at 12:30 & didnt leave until like almost 11 ! whew! good time though. it was worth it! Jeff was already sound asleep by the time i got home & never heard me. lucky him though because the next day was another all day event....
Thursday - Wasting away again at Margaritaville... yup we were off to the jimmy buffett concert. tail gate all day. we had a great time, the weather was great, the company was great, and of course the food was great. Unfortunately about 6 we got some pretty bad thunder showers. just when you thought it was going to clear up, it would down pour again. it wasnt too bad.. except for jeff who got his sneakers all wet when he had to start taking down the tents so everything was put away before the show started.. that way at the end all we would have to do is get the hell outta there. we made it into the stage area at one point with no rain.. but as i was waiting for the little girlie room, it started to pour. jeff headed to the mens room & then came by to keep me company. for some reason the chick behind me in line did not realize i was in front of her until i called jeff over ( he couldnt find me ) she was like the back of the line is down there.. i go yeah?? and ?? jeff was like she's been standing here! and then i go - i've been standing behind this girl for about 15 -20 minutes now! so she says to her friends has she been in front of me?? i turned to jeff & said its not my fault she cant pay attention to whos right in front of her! how could she miss me though???? i had a baby blue rain poncho on! hellooooo!?!?!? i would never cut in line, thats just ignorant. so anyway, it started to downpour so jeff hung out under the beer tent while the b.r. line slowly moved up. once i got into the actual bathroom area, these 2 older woman come in thru the exit door & come up next to me (trying to cut) so i moved up because im already aggravated & they are NOT getting in front of me. so then the chick behind me perks up & says now i know you 2 were not in front of me.. so they say they've been waiting.. so im aggravated & figured since i got attitude for being in line, im giving attitude to someone else.. .so i said well you werent waiting over here! i should have kept my mouth shut though & minded my own business as long as they werent getting in front of me cuz i really had to pee! i held it all thru the day so as not to be in the porter a potty ! so anyways.. .we get into the show, have a great time (watched a fight that broke out near us ) and just sang along with jimmy. the floor is so bad in there though, our feet were killing us soooo bad. we ended up leaving right before the last song & that was the best thing we could have done. we got right out to head on home. by the time the rest of our crowd left & had come back here to drop chris off to get his car, we had already had someting to munch on & had taken showers.
Friday - j & i were a little pooped but we got up at a reasonable time, made breakfast & got our list ready for grocery shoppping as jeffy is heading out to buffett take 2 on saturday. we stop by mum's give ants a new back board for his basketball hoop, jeff goes swimming & then we headed off to the store. so it was pretty much an early night for jeff & then i was suppose to get some cleaning done after tucking him into bed.. but i dusted only a few things & felt pooped out myself. so just threw in you got mail. when that was over, just headed off the spare room for some zzzzzs.
Saturday - very tough getting up this morning! very acky breaky. jeff was up bright & early to get ready for buffett again.. they left at around 10 for all day affair down there. good thing is though it should be a beautiful day. it was just the guys going this day which is fine. one day of that is enough for me. it is a great time though, walking around & seeing what some people have up. there are so many people who give you free alcohol if you play a game or something, but j & i never feel comfortable taking drinks from someone we dont know, so we dont bother. the other guys did, like shots & stuff from this long pole with about 6 shot glasses on it. they tried to get us to do it with them BUT how many mouths have been on those??? sooo no thanks! :) but anyways, j is on his way to buffett.. .im lounging right now but tonight will be on a booze cruise with the sisters. hopefully it will be a good time.
its so sad to think one more day & then its back to work already! wish i had another week of doing fun stuff with the kids! it was so fun being with them & they had a great time. although, just remembered, we will be going to canobie again tomorrow! jeff's mum's company outing is there & she was nice enough to get us 2 more tickets so k & a could come with us. they are looking forward to coming which is good. hopefully j & i can make it thru the day! i have a feeling he's going to be a very tired person tomorrow! :)

Wow! You had a busy week kiddo!
Everything sounded like a ton of fun!
I've always wanted to see Jimmy Buffet in concert. Was he good?????
I've been to his restuarant - Margaritville in Key West, FL. It's a fun place to hang out!
Was Canobie Lake fun??? I love that place! I've chaperoned a few class trips to Canobie and it's a great time!
I've had a nice few months off but I'm ready to go back to school. I'm actually bored! I know - I'm a very sick person!
