What a long week...
Feeling a little sleep deprived.. after staying awake all night last Thursday & being so busy over last weekend, I never got caught up on much needed rest.
When I got home last Friday from CC, crashed in bed for a few hours. Then we had to get ready for a surprise birthday party for Jeff's friend Rich. It was a good time. We were at Martha's Exchange in Nashua. I like that place. And when the party was over we heaeded downstairs for a drink & they were playing my music. LOVED IT! So a couple of us danced for a bit .. and ya know I dont feel old, or think I look old, until you're in the midst of all these 20 something year olds. How depressing! I felt like grandma.
Saturday....we hung around the house & then went to Rich's house for a little get together. Wished I had stayed home. I was just sooo tired. And we got there kind of late, so no one really stayed that much longer after we got there.
Sunday we did some house cleaning & then his friends said they had a babysitter & wanted to know if we wanted to go out for dinner. It was the best time. Dawn brought me a boyds bear tapestry thing to hang on the wall..its awesome! It matches one of the bears thats in my kitchen. Recipe for Friendship. And we just had such a nice time at dinner.
Monday & Tuesday worked really late since not only was it end of month, it was our fiscal year end as well. By Friday we were all totally wiped out & grumpy. Tuesday night I actually took my contacts out & walked around in my glasses. I couldnt leave the contacts in for another long day, but I never wear my glasses out in public! I was horrified to have anyone see me, but the eyes needed a break. So it figures, the security guy is walking in the hall way, and we almost collided & scared each other... I was so paranoid that I scared him with my glasses on that i said what was that look for! He was like I didnt know anyone else was here! So Erin, him & i chatted for a bit & i just wanted to hide my face! Its stupid I know, but even with my office mate, Just did not want anyone to see the coke bottles on! But he's a really nice guy - so we joked around about it the next night.
So here it is Saturday, I should be out & about already. Fell asleep nice & early, however, from 1 am to about 5:30 am or so I was wide awake. So finally went on the couch & put in the GG dvd. (by the way, that was the best purchase made at cc) fell asleep for a bit & woke up at 8.. too tired to move. So now here I am on line. Did some Christmas shopping on amazon & now its off in the shower to hopefully get my blood test done & some shopping done. God help me - I dont do well in the crowds!
