K & A - both sick!

Karla has a bad head cold & has been out of school so far this week. The poor kid... hot/cold.. stuffy, post nasal drip... the doctor didnt give her anything, just told her to take cough medicine & i think tylenol. My poor Miss Karla :(

Ants has shingels. We didnt care for the doctor acting all non chalent about it (just in case) We've read up on line about it, and its either due to stress (which he has been under with school) or a poor immune system. So per our pushing a little bit, Sandy has him going to another doctor that belongs to the hospital my dad belongs to. He's actually there right now.. hopefully everything is fine & its just stress, but its nice to know for sure since most people who get it are not this young. Its actually the virus from the chicken pox that never really leaves your system & lies dormant until stress or something brings it on. You have bad pain & blisters.. he has a bad rash - one section is like huge red welts, and he's been in pain. At first we all thought he pulled something dancing - until Sandy saw he had a rash. The pain can get severe at times, but hopefully we're he's young & strong, he wont get it that bad. My poor little man : (
