Quick note ~

So very sorry for the lack of blogging lately! Have not gone on babbling about the trip. Work has been so busy since I've been back so hopefully next week there will be time to get ya guys caught up on how our trip went, especially since you've already seen the pictures!

Just need to ask everyone to say a prayer for a little 5 year old girl Olivia. We know her dad & we just found out from a friend that she is in tough shape right now. Seems she was complaining of tummy aches & then they took her to the hospital. They took xrays, took her into the operating room, cut her open & realized she had a major staph infection going on. They had to put her on life support for all her organs to make sure nothing would fail from the infection... then her skin started to die, so they had to wrap her up like a burn victim. Then they thought they were going to have to amputate both her legs - but THANK GOD they started to get color back & they didnt have to do that. As far as we know she is still in a coma on life support. We dont know any other details. Jeff is trying to get Roger's # so we can call him & offer him our support & prayers.

I told Jeff to call & order her some balloons. Even if she's not awake yet, this is a 5 year old fighting for her life & I want our wishes for her to get well to be with her (if that makes sense) We have known Roger for many years. When we go to the club he manages, he either gets us in without a cover charge or buys us a drink. Even for Andrea when he sees her. So the least we could do is send his little girl something.

This breaks my heart so much to type this out. Its so difficult to think of a little baby in such a condition. I have been struggling to fight back tears since Jeff told me about it.

Please say some prayers for Olivia that God & the doctors can help her through this so she can lead a normal, full life.
