Its only Wednesday....
Its been so crazy, another week has gone by since blogging. Not too much to write about anyway though.. Was sick all last weekend. Missed 3 parties on Saturday .. Jeff still went though which was good.. It was nice to be able to bounce from the bed to the couch whenever a change of scenery was needed.
Monday was suppose to go a hair show with Andrea & her Mum, but I was still under the weather. That was disappointing to miss though. But Krystina ended up being at my Mums which I found out later on in the afternoon.. so my mum was ok that I came over with the sickness .. it was good to see Krystina. She's soo cute & its been too long since we've seen each other.
Other than that, have just been working & resting up this week. Today is the first day that I feel good, just really exhausted still though. Working late tonight & then doing some much needed food shopping. Looks like a late week anyways with end of month. Suppose to go out with Andrea tomorrow, and I really dont know if I'll make it. I hate to not go, but with one person down in the department, its crazy ... so this end of month there is going to be a ton of things to get entered or get ready for accruals. Great. Cant believe its only Wednesday.. it feels like a whole weeks gone by already! UGH.
Some sad news today though, Lauren's good friend, her boyfriend's cousin Denise passed away from Leukemia last night. I've met Denise only once & she was so full of life & happy despite what was going on. And from what Lauren posts on her blog - Denise was a very strong, brave woman who kept a positive attitude. Unfortunately she took a turn for the worse after having a bone marrow transplant. It wasnt an exact match, but Denise took the chance anyway. Her body rejected it, she went into a coma, they removed a tube & then a day or 2 later (sorry if this is not accurate) she passed away. I dont know how to link Lauren's blog - but if you post a comment here to let you know you're thinking of her, I'll pass it on. Please keep Lauren, Rich & the family in your thoughts & prayers. Denise was very courageous. Someone to look up to, admire and someone who made you realize what life has to offer - even if someone is sick. Just from reading Lauren's blog on her - you got to know the type of person she was, and we should all strive to have such positive attitudes.

The illness thing should stop making the rounds soon - at least that's what I've been telling myself!
Glad to hear you are feeling better -
So sad about Cousin D - she's way too young! I never met her but she sounded like a wonderful person.
What a touching post...thanks Janet. I started crying again...don't feel bad, it's nice to have friends like you that care so much.
I hope you feel better real soon!
