What a day....
Here it is .... 6:30pm .. staying late to get work done & the system is frozen. great. Tomorrow is end of month & I was really hoping to get some very important checks printed tonight.. im selecting them now & thats where its frozen. Wonderful. Most people have gone home for the night - why is it frozen?!?!? Plus 2 temps that we have were helping me with some invoices... not to sound like a jerk - but I should have just done them myself because it took them all day and now I have to check them before they are confirmed & checks are printed. More work. Im tired... getting grouchy.... and just really annoyed that the computer is stuck. I could say that I could get in here really early tomorrow - but you all know how I am.... sooo the chances of that happening despite all good intentions are quite slim.
Tonight Andrea & I were suppose to hit CVS with Ang's 20% off coupon (no clue why i didnt get one!!) So she was nice enough to offer for me to use her's .. so we were going to have a nice night... but I didnt realize it fell on end of month day.. and everything needs to be entered in tomorrow by 10.... soooo that leaves tonight to get most of the stuff in & checks printed.. So unfortunately, I told her to not wait for me, and to go & have a good night. So she was suppose to hit the store on her lunch & go to the movies with her Mum tonight instead. Hope she has fun! Monday is another day with the same deadline - but noon for accruals. There is so much crap on my desk- hope nothing gets missed!
Mmmmm lets see.. wish there was something interesting to chat about ... mmmm the smoke is burning, coming out of my ears trying to come up with something fun or whatever.. OH i know - does anyone watch the Today show? Well its old news now, but Katie Couric is leaving. I love watching that every morning & and dying to even get a little tv for my desk, or a radio tha picks up tv to listen to it here. And I love seeing what Katie is wearing for the day for some stupid reason. I do like her replacement.... why do i always forget her name??? She's from the View.. think she will be great with Matt, so it will be interesting.
Finally feeling better.. not so run down & FINALLY have stopped sneezing! That was sooo very draining!
Ooooh goodies ! The computer is back up again.. ok well gotta go... sorry for such a boring entry!
