Goodbye Auntie Isabele

She was one of my Mother's favorite Aunts and if you met her and my Aunt Beatty (Isabele's sister) you would love them too. They are just the type of people who radiate love & warmth. Lauren & Lori - you actually just saw the wedding picture with both these Aunts in it. Even my Dad loves these 2 Aunts. Uncle Charlie was telling my Dad how much they thought of him. You could tell Dad was very touched. Unforunately, we did not make it to the funeral today.
Auntie Isabele's voice is in my head.. I loved the way she would say my name when my mother would have her & Uncle Charlie over for lunch, and I would come home & surprise them. Auntie Beatty seems a little shaken up. She just spoke to Auntie Isabele on Saturday & they were planning time together. A. Beatty is also upset too because out of their immeidate family, she is the last one left. Although I see her living for many more years.. She's 79 & go everywhere! God Bless her.
Poor Uncle Charlie.. he looks ok but we think it hasnt really hit him yet. He kept saying how they have been together since they were 16 & he has spent his life living for his wife.. .what is he going to do now. I just couldnt say anything at that point.. too busy fighting off tears.. But to love like that - its just amazing & its very rare. They certaintly had something very special between them.
For some reason this Thomas Kinkade picture makes me think of the doorway to Heaven.. so thought this was nice to use for this post for someone so very special.
