Happy Friday definitly TGIF!
Woohooo Friiiiiday! Yipppeeeeeee
Lets see, some catch ups are in order - Karla is starting to feel somewhat better - yippee! She was actually doing some of her homework yesterday afternoon. It also made me feel good that she called me here at work to ask me a question on her English paper. Hopefully I was a good helper anyway. I miss being with her & Ants & helping them with their homework. I want to live with them again! It was fun & it was nice being there for them. I still miss them very much!
My sister took Ants to another doctor...they gave him a good check up & took some blood. They'll be going back on Monday for the results & so they can see how Ants is doing. The poor kid. He was told to stay out of school the rest of this week, and unfortunatly, the rash & pain has spread. He has a swollen gland under his armpit from the virus too.
My boss Sue is leaving. It was announced yesterday that she'll be out of here in 2 weeks. Its sad - but it will be better for her. She works too much here & Im sure it will be wonderful to actually have time for a life. Its only been 8 months since I've started - but its still hard to see people go that are in your department. She's a great person & I hope wonderful things happen for her with this new move.
Erin, could be taking her place. She's deciding on it right now. I think she will be good in that position and she could learn a lot, and have it look great on her resume. She said something about it maybe being weird for us, but I dont think it will be. I look at it as almost being like the same role we are in now kind of.
So in this long post here are also some Friday happies:
* Karla's cold seems to be getting better
*Ants hopefully will be getting better care
* The weekend is finally here
* Ordered a pair of jeans that are like my absolute favorites (which have started to rip!)
* Everything seems to be in order for our Florida trip
* lost a pound - might not seem like a lot - but i'll take what I can get!
* great family & friends
* saw jeff's nephew jake this week - he's such a cutie
